After losing Snati on Xmas eve, and Beeble in June, I swore no more dogs. Hubby an I both work nights and sometimes they coincide..

Well I was offered a better job with no nights starting after my holiday. .....sat in the airport I get THE phonecall.

"There's a rescue looking for a home, you interested?"

Long story short she arrived the day after we got home.

Sad little soul, missing so much fur, raging skin infection, unhealed and infected dog bites where she'd been attacked by XL bullies. Big abscess on her bum.

Three weeks after she arrived and she's been on her first canoe trip

I just love it when a rescue dog manages to bag itself a perfect home. My friend has just lost her GSD and hopefully in time she will take on another one.
