can you use a normal bridle for hard rubber mullen mouth ? or do you need a weymouth?

when i get my new bit i need a new bridle too because my icelandic one is not compatible.

ok good. thankyou! that's what ithought but i was looking at a picture earlier of a pehlam but with a weymouth bridle that is why i asked. :)

you can get a type of pelham called a rugby pelham which uses a double bridle - this is like a weymouth and bridoon, but with only one piece of metal going through the mouth. It is usesd on some show horses who don't like the feel of two bits in the mouth.

ahhah. I didnt know that. I find it actually quite fascinating how many different types of bits there are.
