Winter tips!

fish wouldnt work..we got ponds...the pond doesnt freeze compeletly because of fish movemnet but there is a definately a good slab of ice on the top of the pond.

Not about fish!
If you dont like muddy boots in the car ....I have a kitchen washing up brush which Ive put onto some baler twine and keep hung on the gate.
Its very good for srubbing dirty wellies under the tap before i get in the car!
or to clean water buckets out!
Another tip...If you dont want to feed hay from the ground save wastage by getting an old bath(Take the taps off and plug out) and shake the hay into that!Mine prefer it to haynets and you dont seem to get much wastage and it doesnt get trampled in!
