Stunning pics, I was just thinking how isolated it all looked and then
lo and behold up popped a pic with some other Dwellings:bounce:

Personally I think the Horses quite like the snow, my two certainly prefer
it to the wind and rain. but we have had nothing like the amount you have:biggrin::cold::cold:

it looks absolutely stunning up there - can't believe there's still so much snow! and to think we were sick to the back teeth of what we had here - we had nothing in comparison!

they all look beautiful, especially hunky Vel. i agree - they do seem to like the snow, mine certainly does!

Oh lovely!!!!!!

I'm getting very impatient now to have similar scenes of my own. We've still not got a moving date, but it can't be long now - PLEASE! We know Eggwub will be happy to be back - just hope Harvey and southern born Grace will be too.

Gorgeous! I'm always so envious when I see your pics. Does anyone keep Arabs up there?

Cant really think of a lot of Arabs up here apart from one down the road from me.
There was a family who moved to Shetland about 15 years ago to breed Arabs, unfortunately they didnt do their research and a lot of the foalies died, its just too harsh in Shetland to breed on a bigger scale unless its Shetland ponies or something very hardy!

I have a confession Taz, these pics were taken before xams..our snow is long gone!!
