It's not really as easy as that because in the UK you have different types of livery yards offering different care levels.

I am on diy it cost £225 per horse buy that is just a stable and a field. Does not include hay. Bedding hard feed. Or shoes. Wormer. Vet. Dentist saddler physio or replacement kit

Ah, Thank you!

Depends on lots of things really, the type of horse you get, where it's kept, what you intend to do with it, how you keep it, lots and lots of variables.

I pay £250 per month for 2 on grass livery: that is just a field with water, no power. I provided my own shelter and provide everything else.

I keep mine at home, but they still cost about £200 a month when you take into account medication, routine vet visits and farrier. The meds for mine combined are £80 a month (ish). And then there's supplements. And emergency call outs.......
But all worth it, I've nothing else to spend on!lol

My two cost me about £250 a month for keep, food & routine essentials, so £3k a year and probably another £1k a year in niceties and extras, I had to claim £9k one year in vets bills through my insurance, unexpected extras can always come along.
The cost of horse keeping varies hugely around the world and even county to county though, its probably best to ask in your area what the costs of essentials are, like board, farrier, feed, veterinarian visits etc to work out what its likely to cost you.
