I hope you will all indulge me as everyone else is bored with pony stories!

Last week end was pony camp for Harvey and I at Lincomb Equestrian. Its slightly(!!) lower scaler than @kpnut's Its basicaly 3 days of 2 lessons a day and talking about horses, with stabling for the horses and food for the humans all included.

Friday started with flatwork (which I am particularly bad at). There were just 2 of us with the instructor Naoimi Underwood swapping between is. I have been having problems with balance on the left rein when trotting which we working on and pretty much got sorted out.

A bit of no stirrups work

Polework on Friday afternoon - I didn't expect to be able to canter over poles on a bend.

Saturday morning was gridwork which I don't seem to have any photos of :(

Saturday afternoon was XC technique where we basically did arena eventing, plus a go on the canter track to understand how fast we should be going

What a fun weekend. :)
I'm jealous (but in a good way).

You both look great.:D

I love that narrow barrel jump.:);):D

The only thing I would have liked better would be taller poles.
And possibly bit more substantial like the ones flagging the cavaletti.

How far is that place from you?
It looks really fun to go back to.

I love seeing your photos :).

Thanks everyone for indulging me. It really is a great camp - 24 people having fun with their horses.

@domane This Jen? If so she was in several of my lessons - she is really nice. I must have met Kelly, but I can't put a face to the name

that's a very skinny skinny!
I've actually jumped it before on my share horse, but not on Harvey

I love how you've always got your eyes on the horizon!
I'm too scared to look down!

I think the poles are 5' - Harvey is quite big. After we have moved stables it will only be 40 minutes away or less. It took me 1 hour 15 from the current stables

Yes Harvey being big has made the poles
Look small.

Ohhhh 40 min is not too bad.

I've never been to a camp like that.
It looks like such fun.

Many of the major western clinicians advertise multi day clinics in their shows.

Some. . Clinton Anderson
Craig Cameron

and others have AWESOME obstacle
Courses. :)

Sadly they are all out west.:(

Its wonderful to have something really good that close.;)

I love your jumping pics, but I think my favourite is the one where he is doing a lovely elevated trot over the ground poles.
