Fly repellant tags and bands

I know it probably wouldn’t work for you but the ride on fly sheet has been a total godsend for us this summer.
I have actually found a product that works well for me too, called ‘smidge’ got it from amazon and they do wipes too, smells much nicer than deet and so far this summer it’s the only thing that stops the mozzies biting me.

Do the ride on rugs have a belly cover? that's the bit that really gets eaten on Jess. I am a little apprehensive re ride on rugs, Jess doesn't regulate her temp very well and I worry about her over heating.

For the belly I used the section off the Pagony fly rug. Straps went over the front and back of the saddle.
Got secondhand off ebay in two sizes bigger than I needed so the belly was longer.
Worked for previous chap.
We don't get knats like that here, or if we do her coat is too thick and they keep flying.

I've looked a few times for any company selling those wrap around belly bits (off of fly rugs) separately, no luck yet :(

Mine doesn't have a belly bit, but to be honest it's long enough that the mozzies don't seem to go under it as it were, that and a good squirt of deet/smidge seems to do the trick for us.

I have just invested in a bottle of Tri-tec.

Originally I was going to buy one of these for Gracie....

Shame Kramer can't spell "exercise"... but that's just me being pedantic!!

It's been too hot for me so I've been hiding indoors during the hottest hours of the day. Plus I've been quite achey and sore following my fall and Jack's run in with the gate. The bruising has come out now.

So the bottom half of my body has been sore from the fall, but the top half is from being hit by a 12ft galvanised gate!!!

Where we ride that fringe would get caught in the hedges.
I get my hunting whip caught up. Flies aren't that bad to need anything.
But depends on where you are.
