Luckily notperhaps as well given I'm not very handy with needle and thread
Thankfully Jess isn't a rug wrecker, and the little boys don't wear them as a rule. I spent many hours fixing bo's rugs so know how it feels, I don't miss it
Well I was given a fly sheet at the weekend. I put it on in the morning one day this week. When I went to get the boys in that evening it had a large rip down the bottom. So didn't even last a day. Fortunately it had a couple of snags anyway which was why it was given to me but even so. Our animals are so ungrateful.
So I now have two fly sheets awaiting repair. Oh and a rain sheet from the winter. One day I shall go mad and repair them all. I have to be in the mood to get the needle and thread out.
My excuse for not liking needle and thread is that about five years ago I developed an awful septic infection in my finger after accidentally stabbing the end of it with the blunt end of the needle I had no idea at the time that even though initially painful as a sharp stab - just how awful it was going to turn out
I got groomed by mine today. I reminded myself its meant to be nice but they are a bit rough! It's the first year it's happened I'm blaming the other ladies over vigorous grooming technique
