6 years ago I posted a thread about how I had owned Belle for a year and about how much I adored her and how wonderful our partnership was. Someone on here who I won't name replied to that thread telling me she was very concerned about me and my relationship with Belle and how in her opinion she could only see trouble ahead, well, 6 years on from that thread, Belle had physio on Tuesday, a new lady, who comes very highly recommended. For anyone who wants to check out her credentials https://www.thehorsephysio.co.uk
She told me that not only is Belle one very lucky horse but that our partnership is so close and so wonderful to see, it's very obvious that we are great friends and have an amazing bond.
So to the lady who said 'it wouldn't last' I'd like to say, I knew we had a good thing and that has not degraded as you were so sure it would, but got stronger and stronger as time has passed, tell me would your horse out in a herd, run to the gate with her herd buddies or wait for you and walk by your side? For no other reason than that she wanted to be there? Would she come to you in the field and walk next to you with no halter or lead rope through a ten acre field of long lush grass for no other reason than she wanted to stay by your side?
Everyone needs a Belle in their life and I am one super lucky lady to have found her, we've had our ups and downs but basically I feel like that little girl who got her wish one Christmas morning and has to pinch herself every single day.
