I did have one for him but he just ended up trying to stand on it and I think it just frustrated him more than anything lol! He loves to pick things up and shake them and run about with them. Thinking a half deflated football would be good will roll but he can get a hold of it. :)

So came in to this last night :(

Raging he’s clearly for his head stuck in something but can’t find what it was :)

They look better than my lad's seemingly small cut that he came in with 11 days ago and so far has had two vet visits and two courses of antibiotics. I'm so pleased for you that he seems to be healing well.

Don't know, he came in from the field in the morning with what looked to be a small cut which I cleaned up and put some wound gel on and did the same thing that evening. The next day it looked to be scabbing over nicely so put a bit more wound gel on morning and evening again. Came in the next morning and his leg was swollen, warmer than it should be, and the cut was open and looking angry so I got the vet. Turns out part of it was a puncture down between two muscles so he cleaned it right up, gave me antibiotics and said to keep cleaning it and applying wound gel. Looked to be healing up again then on last day of antibiotics it was a bit swollen & hot again and the cut looked yellow. So vet back out again, and by this point I'm starting to feel like I must look like an over-anxious incompetent! Cleaned it right out again and said it is healing but slowly and now that the bad swelling has gone he thought it had been deeper than he initially believed. More of the same. It's now scabbing over again but is still swollen around it and doesn't look how I'd really like it to.

The problem is worse because it went between muscle so the movement slows down repairs, though on the plus side it does help pump out any nasties. Vet said to keep him out and keep him in work since he's not been even slightly short or sore on it. I'm just hoping this time it heals up as I'm going away and while my yard owner is very good I don't like leaving her with extra work and a potential problem.

Looks good, manuka honey is a miracle worker. I really like it for dealing with infected (or potentially infected) wounds, we used it when mani cut his leg down to the Canon bone and he was healed up in 3 weeks flat
