Coffee & Cake Shop Chat

Yep i do get headaches/migraines regularly. Some are stress related for sure others are not.
The stupid thing is ive actually been eating more healthy since lockdown. Eating less junk food. Ive lost weight because of this. Youd have thought id be feeling like a spring chicken now.

Been drinking more water plain since you said the other day. Definitely not lack of fluid. Although definitely not drinking as much coffee. Have been drinking squash instead. So sugar in that, which i dont have in coffee.
Lack of sugar from the junk food for sure. Although 10 weeks weaned off should be long enough for the body to readjust. Guess i need to bake some more naughty biscuits then. Maybe some honeycombe is in order.

In all seriousness dont think its just a diet thing. Have a feeling its blood pressure and pulse related. I do have a low pulse rate. We actually have a blood pressure monitor but not sure if the cuff is suitable for my slim arm. It was for someone whos arm was alot bigger so you get different size cuffs. Ive taken out the batteries and recharging them currently so going to play about later. There not 100% though as the digital ones dont work on my mum due to her large arm size. Think im going to start recording my bp so i have something to give to the dr if i have to ring up.

I know when I dropped sugar I felt awful so had to do slowly.
I get cravings but aim for two coffees or changing to decaf.

I am stressed at the moment though and I am noticing this can make me a bit dizzy.

That cuff jolly well hurts!

Just settling my potato waffles and coffee. Total change in weather here, yesterday was summer. We reached the dizzying temperature heights of 16 degrees. Humph. Rain today and soggy. Oh well. I can put the t shirts back in the drawer and stop mithering about fly rugs.

Ive been doing some of my art coursework and a bit of drawing 'again'
One of the exercises involves water a brush and some charcoal, designed to show that making art can be fun and messy, I actually love what I created and yes it was fun and messy to boot! 102625

They are so good @Kite_Rider you need a beautiful portfolio to keep all these in and then you can enjoy looking through them. They are so good. The charcoal one is really interesting too - it looks very "arty" if you know what I mean. Wonderful. Keep sharing please!

Forgot to say, Orkney Sam makes me smile every day, he's going into his frame shortly but atm he's residing in the centre of the coffee table in the lounge, (T couldn't find a frame when he arrived but now we have). I see him every morning when I go in there to put the radiator on or off. His eyes are so kind. ?

Thank you Trewsers, I’ve bought a lovely archive box for my drawings, each one in its own archival clear film pocket and they are all like my babies, lol.
As for Orkney Sam it makes me happy to know he brings you a bit of joy each day and that you like him so much.

Love seeing your artwork @Kite_Rider you are extremely talented and you can see the joy you get from doing them in the work.

@newforest I'm so pleased you have had a good day :)
Thank you, you are very kind, glad you like to see my creations though as I do love to share them and hope that they bring those viewing them a little bit of the joy I get making them.

Love those @Kite_Rider. I think the charcoal looks like a fossil. Out of interest, have you done any bees?
Interesting that you see a fossil, I think it’s one of those bits of art that is like clouds in the sky as in you see what your imagination creates, both my daughters saw something very different and I’ve had to promise it to my eldest daughter as she absolutely loves it.
