Can't add images - bar at top of post greyed out

I'm probably being really stupid, but I can't add any images to my posts as I can't select anything in the 'toolbar' at the top of the section where you write text.

I've had a look in settings can't see anything. Can anyone help?

Cant remember which button it is but have you got 3 dots button you can click on. I seem to recall you can turn something off or on in error by accidently clicking something.

Yes - had same problem, and also can't remember which I clicked to get it back. I think I just pressed everything until it went normal again!

I am so dumb I only ever add photographs using the "attach files" option at the bottom...

All this does for me is opens my camera, not my gallery so can only add a photo if I take it at that moment.

Thank you, clicking the 3 dots and clicking on things appears to have worked!!

If you had clicked the Toggle BB Code which is the 2 square brackets to the left of the disk icon it turns off the other buttons. Click it again to restore.

You can use the Insert image button to add pictures - it's to the left of the smiley face.
