Two of my three yearling CrepeMyrtles are blooming fools The bush on the left got smashed by a big limb off the Bradford Pear tree during the nasty March ice storm. I’m surprised it came back in such a stellar manner.
#3 is alive and well but is in a different section of the yard. It gets full sun, so I’m not sure why It’s so slow to bloom. They were all planted the same day and fertilized in identical manner.
Crepe Myrtles are non-toxic to every creature. One of my horses has the yard as part of his grazing area, so I checked, lol.
The bottoms of the background trees are nowhere to be seen because this part of the yard sits pretty high, even though it doesn’t look that way..
