Yes for sure o_O

My halo slipped I forgot to close back stall doors to hay this am

Thsnk god there is stall guard chain across both but lol floor nice and hay free as far as they could reach and no bales were in reach.

Andi,s halo slipped just now I had no idea she was right on my heels when I went out and she pushed past to open yard.
Thank God she came right back to sound of rattling hay pellets in a scoop.:p

He's started spooking at things that aren't there, and today gave Mr T a really hard time, amazed he stuck on - lots of head tossing and spinning. Not at all good.

Oh dear - let's hope its just a blip :( The trouble is next time you ride you are tense because of last time and then the horse is tense because you are (Can you tell I've been there?)

A lot of play the last couple days .
Its working out well to do both online and liberty.
Our lesson was changed to Saturday.
I'm not sure its gonna happen.
We got 8 horrible wet inches of snow and its turned to rain which will make things even worse.

That much is not gonna melt today with no sun and it wont be very warm. Tomorrow is to be sunny and a bit warmer but this is a lot to try to melt .

On a good note:) the 2 baby miracle goats will see and play in snow for the first time. :D:p

Yesterday was nasty no play and today the lesson was put off its still nasty snow not much melting and its gotten very windy again.

Really not a day for a productive lesson. We are having one the day after Thanksgiving and snow should be gone .

I did go out and do very low key liberty in the little round pen I don't want him being silly and doing something stupid.
HE WAS A GOOD GOOD BOY.:)

The sun is not cooperating to stay out to get on the stick melting this :(.

The miracle goats were funny little Theodore came up thru snow..
Little Lincoln stayed for the longest time down by the shoveled gates
carrying on screaming im sure he was yelling GET ME A TICKET TO MIAMI:p:cool:

Trying to get a wheelbarrel thru yesterday was not fun cause it was too heavy to shovel very much at all.

Walking out early this am there was still lots even with some sinking from the rain.

Oh no - I forgot to take any photos :(

we had a really nice weekend weatherwise (sorry @horseandgoatmom :( ) so we hacked out Saturday and Sunday. Harvey was surprisingly well behaved and I even managed to persuade him to step sideways to close the gate when we got back

Took the boy wonder out for a spin over a 90cm course. One place out of the ribbons in 7th. Out of 47 entries that wasn’t bad, I thought. :)

Also our first 90cm course of SJ. He didn’t do much as breathe on a pole. Double clear. Good boy. Qualified for Cricklands too :D6C68AADB-4577-4F2E-A3F2-30F163D7D9ED.jpeg8E79151F-4629-49B0-8AB0-548FB79FAFD8.jpeg6756269D-2C9C-4E98-BAC2-89F569781B8D.jpeg

The weather has been all over the place crummy and then really cold 10f:eek::eek:
With no sun and ugh wind wind wind:(

Yesterday was sunny and 25f very little breeze woo hoo:).
The ground was very hard but I did do some liberty play. It felt pretty good in the
Sun.:)

Today may get close to 40f it will seem like a heat wave:p.
The farrier is coming today early it will maybe be close to 32f with any luck and partial sun depending on how quick the clouds thicken for rain later this evening.

I hope to do more liberty.

The cold is much easier to take if its sunny and not dank and gloomy.

We had quite nice weather this weekend - cool but dry. We had a nice hack round on Saturday making use of the bridleway while it is still passable.

Sunday was a SJ clinic. This was at the venue we had to hack to last time so it was very nice to be able to go in the lorry. This was our first time in the 80/90cm group moving up from 70cm. Harvey was really good especially given that 2 other horses in the group were playing up to start with (rearing and bucking). We start with a cross pole then with a fence at 80cm which was no problem. This was then put up to 90cm and I was given the option to miss it out. I decided we could do it and Harvey cleared it nicely. We then worked up to a short course of 5 jumps at 80cm which I did twice. The others then did the same course at 90cm. I still have a long way to go but I've made good progress this year.

In the afternoon I was invited to hack out on the YOs retired grade a showjumper which was fun. We were acting as babysitter while she rode her current jumper who is only 6 and can be a a bit exciting without company I understand!
