A real spring weekend

I hope everyone had some of the lovely weather this weekend. We had a glorious day yesterday - we had naked ponies for the first time this year - today not so good as the fog didn't really lift but it still felt spring like.

Anyway, yesterday I rode out from the farriers, just a little amble in the bare back pad, and the Red Kites were out in full force, I assume they were courting. Had several amazing sittings where they came right overhead really close, obviously eyeing us up for dinner! Of course I was never quick enough with the camera to get the close ups, but I did get some pics, some are blown up so not great quality but such handsome birds.

Weve had the opposite weekend weather, yesterday was ok, but today has been glorious. This afternoon I was in tshirt and did actually feel very warm at one point.
The boys were in there light weight rugs (still very chilly here at night ) and I was going to take them off this morning for a day naked, but I didn't get out to them with so many things to do. I went to get them in at 2pm to ride and both were actually soaked.
