if you are using a very sharp knife to cut up celery for your horse's feed, and you happen to drop said knife....
Do not attempt to catch it!
The result is a very sore finger and a feed room that looks as if a small animal has been slaughtered in it

Oh and the knife hit the floor anyway and was undamaged.

Is it a new knife?

I bought a new one and cut myself with it the first time I used it. Personally it should have had a warning sticker on it to tell me it was sharp. :p:D
It came with a cover and I still use that.

Ps. How small do you chop the celery? It's not something I have offered mine. I might be tempted now.

Celery? Do they eat that?!
Hehe, glad you survived, we do some really dumb stuff don't we. I was once cutting up sweet potato and noticed a bit of it looked really dark red and immediately wondered if it was off or something. Until I realised it was my blood and I'd cut myself without even noticing. Muppets!!

My pony loves celery. I chop it like I would carrots, into batons.
Finger just a bit tender this morning, given all the blood yesterday, I was surprised that it was still attached!
