Dan has been with us for a year, doesn't time fly! And in that year I have done very little with him, but he doesn't mind as long as he gets a scratch and the occasional apple :)
When I viewed him

He landed on his feet with you Jessey, we’ve a sweet Shetland on our yard, he’s not ridden but he loves a scratch and a nose kiss from everyone on the yard. His owner says ‘everyone should have a Shetland in their life’ I’m very much inclined to agree with her.

I meant to ask, has he done the job you wanted him to do, in the end?
Ish, he and Hank have a funny relationship of love/hate. They play lots and groom each other, but then Hank picks on him too. The insane charging about when I take Jess out is much less than it was but not totally cured, it still seems to be getting gradually better though. I think if it were just the 2 of them they would be best friends, but Hank was late cut and is a bit protective of his girl (and worse when she is in season which is most of the year)
