After time off

I really don't know what I will do if and when Ben comes back into work. I was follow whatever the vet advises I guess. He has never had time like this off before, I can't imagine he would go wild if I were to just get on him, but I imagine he will need building up quite slowly. At the moment I am trying to get through box rest hell and looking forward to being able to put him in a field. Riding him is the last thing on my mind.
 
Haakon (and I) have had a long spell off from riding. Haakon is 24 so we are going back into it very gently. No groundwork, just gentle 20 minutes riding concentrating on bending, suppleness, half halts, transitions in walk. I try to ride most days and just as we were getting our tolt back, I had to go south for a week, so it is back to the beginning again.

Klaengur will come back into work next week after two months off. He is much younger and daughter will just get on and go. We are a bit weather dependent at the moment.
