I would you all to meet Kias baby brother Maesymor Amber Flash aka Faran. :D

He's a six month old Welsh d colt foal. Flaxen chestnut with three white socks and a roan leg :)

He travelled home like a pro and has been a star to handle.

At the sales after I bought him :)

Getting used to his big brother smell before they become field buds tomorrow, hoping him sleeping in Kia’s bedding will make him more likely to bond with him to help him integrate into the herd more smoothly ;) and owning his stable lol he settled straight away :)

Congratulations, he's beautiful. Those markings are exactly what I'd choose. .. in fact he looks similar to William who I had a few years ago....

Thanks everyone. I was very emotional buying him but I saw him in the stables then when I saw him move I just knew.

He is a sweetheart to handle, very wary but he follows me round the stable and will lead and headcollar. Walked into the lorry then my trailer like a natural. Not phased not heard a peep out of him either :)

He has spirit and just ticks all the boxes. I’m hoping he will help ease my pain in a few weeks and give me a new life to focus on and to honour everything Kia has taught me x

@domane I was planning to go see two on the way home but I cancelled those viewings on Saturday :)

He looks and sounds lovely, he'll never take Kia's place but I think he'll make his own place in your heart very quickly.

I'm relieved to hear it wasn't you who paid £45,000 for the Sec C stallion!

Ahem in deed..what happened to leaving your cards in the hotel!! :p He is beautiful and I don't blame you one bit, I also would've brought him home :D

That was one AMAZING auction! It was actually hard for me to stay in my seat as the atmosphere was setting of my PTSD

Gorgeous animal honestly well deserved price tag :)

He will never replace my boy, he is irreplaceable but this wee man will give me someone to pour my heart and experience into :) he has character and is a good soul :)

They haven’t actually :(

Kia was great with him to start with, grazing happily side by side but then the mares appeared in the field across and started shouting and then Kia got herd defensive with the wee man so started chasing him. He was never in danger to catch him, he’s like a greased whippet and Kia’s older now (thank god) but it was quite stressful for them both.

They calmed down and the wee man went exploring. I had to go do some errands somleft them and came back and all was good. Had to bring the wee man in as he went for a run and thought a gap in the hedge was a gap in the hedge then realised there was a fence and half hopped it o_O he caught himself a little bit nothing major grazes.

However Kia got a seriously spanked botty tonight after he nearly squashed me into a gate trying to go for Faran. So he’s in the cow pen after getting a telling off over night with water and a haynet.

Kia is great until he can see his herd, hoping after a week or so he will get over this and just accept the wee man and they can get on as he will be getting gelded shortly and I can’t have Kia chasing him when he has wounds.

I've had some good introductions and some truly awful ones too. Thankfully with the awful ones I was in a position to be able to rethink and have them alongside each other for a couple of weeks. Albi ran through a post and rail fence to escape my TB and got some quite nasty cuts! Weird because I'd never seen that side of my TB.

I love all the pictures, they are beautiful! But I especially like the one of him leaping in the air for joy while Kia completely ignores him and gets on with the real business - eating!

Fantastic pictures, what a beautiful little horse. What height do you think he may make?

I am not a bit surprised that he came home with you. How wonderful.
