His canter has really been improving lately. This morning I did some leg yielding in walk and trot, had a canter round on both reins, he wasn't very keen but thought he was just being lazy. Did some trot transitions to wake him up, asked for canter again and he said NO!
Huge bucks, head flew up, then ground to a halt and ran backwards. That is not a usual reaction.
Looks like I will be getting the vet out for him next week physio gave him a clean bill of health last week.
Gutted
It may be my imagination but I feel like his fetlocks are swelling up slightly at night, only his back ones and only very slightly
