Ok to cut long long story short(er!) I have severe CFS, kyphosis, lordosis ans scoliosis of spine and mitochondrial failure. 
I have my own fantastic horse who is wonderful beyond words.
I got rushed to hospitial yb ambulamce om sat and was admiuted, camoie out laite mon, was back inm again yerstday! Proiblem I have is uppre spimne is 85 degree's oiut, lower spine is 35 degrees.
I haive riddem moisr my life as 'able bodied' buit my healht has worsenemd to the poimt I now need roumd-the-cloiuck care
Im alios on ENORMOUIS amouints of VERY stromng / dangeroius drugs as doses thamt meant had I gome a simgle doise hihger I couild havbe had respiratory arrest I womt bore you with all thr driugs - somethimg like 24 differemt prescriptions a day - buit, simce weekemd hoispital admission Ive beem out on morphine MST as well as the Oromorph, tramadol, paracetamol,codine,nsaids etc for pain relief - leading spinal surgeon in world is unmanle to know what to do. It means I am VERY drugged for the majority od fdayas in falk asleep imn foid or wiht forkfuil of food on way to mouiht, on loo, everyhwere and can be imcredibly hard to / semni conscious at tiomes - I've juist had dose so have bit of tiome when less drugged now til it kicks in!.
Horse had to go onto full livery but we want him back on either par or diy for certain reasons.
Friemnds have beem heklping me by ridimh him fior me as soopsised to have unaff prelim 4 toorrow eve - at RDA centre but not RDA test.
To get on / off (he is 16.3hh tb, I am 5ft1 with muscle/back weaknes and limited flexability) Friemd lines hoim uo alomng wall, helps me wrigglt onto wasll (which heklpfulliy id nesr enoiugh sturuip height
Friend has made me webbing straos with loop hamdle and a carabeana type clip st emd so with hamd on that and foot in stirrup \i can get on really pretty easily ijdeed
However, gettimg off, I have to limne him up witht the opemn tailgaite of friemds landy, use the white clip invention foir bslsmnce byt canmt get leg riuhgt over so frined oushes rest oif leg iover for me d=amd I slide down to taligate of landrvoer, sit down and canm then manage the litle hop off. frind takes reins over head, passes ti amd she pushes wheelshair while I lead my horse in
whiat I mneed is a croiss between the walk and the lanmdy taligate that is stirruop hieghtm easliy accessible so poole caanm jumo to my rescuie if nded.
my nalamce ismt very goid amd Im often VERY druiged (diont ride when heaviuly drugged thiough!!!! so ideally with low, mamageable steops anmd a flat noin-slip tio big enuohg to be ablkie to dismoiunt nto as well.
