That is just what I was thinking. I love to see long flowing manes and tails but those are too over the top for me.

Although I would like to grill them on how they managed to keep it that length and not let it look like a birds nest!

I like a natural looking mane and tail. Manes and tails are practical features for the horse and show off movement beautifully.
I hate overly long manes and tails as these aren't practical for the horse, merely a nuisense/hinderance/annoyance.

It is slightly bizzare isnt it? And can you imagine the weight on the poor horse carrying that around - assuming they would have been plaited up and out of the way but even so.....not nice for them. A bit freakish really I think.:frown:
