anyone ride western?

I have a youth saddle, and the stirrups it came with are youth too, and they are too small for me. I'm looking at new ones and so many have a 3" neck, but the stirrups I have now are a 2 1/2 inch neck. Will a 3inch work, or will they just look odd and too large. Also, most of the stirrups are SO big especially for a pony.

I've been looking at trail stirrups,they look wide and secure but I'm not sure.

any advice?

I used to, my old horse was broken in western and I helped out on a western yard for 4/5 years, but I still have no idea, sorry

I do have a western saddle for sale if you want to buy that instead of some stirrups...

You'll probably find that 3 inch stirrups will slide around. A pair of stirrup turnerd might work? Or some ez ride type stirrups?
