Anyone use a hay ball feeder?

Has anyone tried one? He loves his treat ball - this is much bigger and holds 3kg of hay.

I've not tried one but did a cheap version for the little boys (I can't remember if I shared it here)

Yes I use them. Both ponies have one, and they both choose to eat from it before eating from the hay net.
One is well over 12 months old now and looks like new (when washed)
Would definitely recommend for a playful horse.

We've thought about getting one of these for Lottie as she loves her treat ball. But she doesn't eat a lot of hay so wasn't sure if she'd end up eating less if it was harder to get out.

I used it when he was in a lot over some of the winter but getting plenty of use now it's Spring & I'm trying to keep him trim
