wish he hadn;t done it as was just the sort of thing to twig his near fore....it's like sitting on a meringue, scared of damaging him more

I am told that the day before he went for xrays he was seen galloping and playing along the fence with the horse next door.....
On the plus side he has been ridden for 3 days in a row, 45 minutes today at walk. Seems quite sound enough. He is of course not to concuss himself but his spooking makes him land heavy so it's self inflicted. He went up the field last night at a canter, had a roll so is cheerful enough. Have had to change his feed to get his meds into him.
Took him out in the box and rode him at walk on a level lane for an hour. He was fine. Lazy on the way back, and we had a discussion about loading....when he got back to the box he wanted to keep going not realising he had about 10 miles to go to get home....he met a peloton of cyclists on the hack, stood like an equine statue 18hh snorting, did a spin and leg it. they all had to stop, get off and walk past him.....while he stood on the verge snorting so loudly you could hear him in the next county. What a wally. He was sound this morning so far so good.
