So the little guy and I have a show on Sunday but I won’t have time to bath him tomorrow so he got a warm soapy wash this afternoon.

He’s getting really good at being bathed now, it’s the drying off he gets miffed at lol! He wants to roll and rub himself off of stuff and because I left him tied up in the sunshine to dry he had a thug moment and started punching the crap out of his haynet in between tearing mouthfuls from it :D

I’ll do his legs and tail tomorrow evening before I bed him down and chalk him and then it’s just a case of packing the trailer and putting him on it in the morning :)

My friends are calling him Faran Longlegs now lol :D

He's had a big growth spurt again from the look of him, how big are you expecting him to get?

A lot of welshies seem fond of throwing front legs around to get attention or in a tantrum, they're definitely the drama queens of the horse world

Expected to make 14.3 but he’s 13.3/14hh at the moment lol Kia was 14.3hh and was a nice height for me. I think he’s going to be bigger but I hope not too big as a big opinionated Welshie will be more of a handful than the 17hh WB I’m riding at the moment lol hoping he stops before 15.3hh

I must say I wouldn't want Little Un at 16hh, though in fairness I'd probably have been much stricter with him if he'd been bigger & so some of the attitude that's funny in a 14.2 wouldn't have developed.

Yeah I’m going to start his obstacle training and desensitisation sooner than I planned. Give him some good inhand work and some things to make his brain tick. So once the riding paddock is re-fenced I’m going to get going with flappy things and introduce him to mr yoga ball and starting him walking over bags and scary things :)

He won’t be pushed but it gives him something to ponder and play with and use his baby brain with. He will be going showing and inhand walking this year but most of his time will be spent in the field and eating grass growing and being a baby. I just don’t want him feral ;)
