I was wondering if anybody here had been to Beaver Hall and taken part in their Have a go dressage or the other tests at all?

How was it?

I'm hoping to go for the first time on 29th Jan, P7 is the Have a go, which is not too bad a test. Neither me or my horse have ever done dressage before, so wondering what to expect!

Prelim 7 is a good one to start with, considering its a 'Have a go test' I would just go and enjoy it and get some experience I would guess they'll be many people giving it a go for the 1st time.
have you learnt the test yet or will you be having a caller?

Haven't learnt test yet, but am going along tomorrow without horse just to see what they are like etc, and whether they have callers or not.

Spoke to them today on phone, and they sound really nice.

The 'have a go' is just about getting people into the arena just to get 'used' to it. Apparently they have all sorts of horses and riders take part, so it sounds quite nice! Also, the canter sections can be done in trot as well, useful, if you don't quite feel confident to canter.
