Best spray for horse flies specifically?

It’s not normally something I have to contend with, we don’t really get them at home but Hank and Niko were dripping with sweat tonight from charging around because of them at the temporary field.
 
Deosect, diluted obvs. I know they say that HF's hunt by sight rather than scent but they generally won't land on Deosect. I've seen them hover and then fly off.... also land and then fall to the ground so 🤷‍♀️

No horseflies in Shropshire yet. I only saw 3 all last summer so I'm hoping they didn't get a chance to breed. 🤞

Horse flies are early. Usually July here. Im blaming you lot for putting up this thread, seen my first ones out today.

Im using a new one this year. Think its a Naf one. Smells a bit like garlic. We shall see if its any good.
