Has anyone done this test? and realistically how experienced do you need to be? i got the impression its more for kids? is this correct?

BHS Progressive Riding Test 1

Depends on your RS really. We used to do the old ones for kids only but now the BHS offer seperate junior tests we keep these for adults.
Generally we run them alongside our Stage 1 training so people are quite competent and able to walk, trot and canter before they start but it is really up to local schools how they are run and in theory you can start taking them as soon as you start to ride.
