I used to ride at a really nice riding stables called Weelsby Park in Grimsby. It was in Weelsby woods so had some really nice hacking. Anyway I used to ride a gorgeous horse there called Blackjack. He was black, obviously, and had a big lump on his face near his eye. He was really nice to jump and could be quite strong but very sensible when hacking out. I can't remember what size he was as I was quite small so it seems a bit different now! I think he was around 14hh.
He was a really lovely boy and I remember really enjoying riding him, but one day I came for my lesson and his owners had taken him off loan and he wasn't at the school any more
Also the other day I was in the blood van getting drained and there was a collage on the wall, and one of the horses on it was called Blackjack and looked a bit like him. So maybe he is owned by a nurse
Would just like to hear how he's getting on, as he taught me to ride!
