Can anyone recommend a book or website that has diagrams or pictures of the various correct positions for riding w/t/c and turning etc?

I want to find something where I can see where my leg should be, hand position etc. Something that explains and shows where to put your inside and outside leg when turning, jumping.

My problem is that when I have a lesson it all makes sense and then when I try it myself I forget whether it's my inside leg on or off or whatever. I need to swot up at home!

Have a look at the Pony Club Manual of Horsemanship. It has quite a few diagrams illustrating various paces and movements.

Also, "The Less-than-perfect Rider" by Lesley Bayley and Caroline Davis looks at how position, body shape etc influences riding.
