Budget Treeless

I'm looking for a treeless saddle that won't break the bank it will only be used for light hacking any suggestions please.

We've used a bareback pad before (NO stirrups on the cheap pads or they could cause pressure points -or make you slip)

I second the Libra-i started out originally in the Barefoot, but loved my Libra.
I also like the Dartmoor Treefree, comes up here and there secondhand.

Answering you question on the ET-barge-poll-bullet! Personal experience, collapsed in centre. Carried on with change of pad, pony threw me.

This was ours, its now the older style because the newer models do have some kind of spinal channel.
That's the 17" which did have a 21" base.

Yeah we have the newer version with gullet and at 9st I don't need a pad under it.

Have only switched recently to a cashel but keeping libra as I know it works for us

The Libra is on offer at the moment £260 with a pad and girth and leathers and irons I think so good value

I personally don't rate the pad - it's very thick and makes it all very unstable for us
