I was competing tomorrow doing dressage.
Lunged him before getting on. He went into canter, got excited and full on kicked out hitting the fence right on his pastern. Right hind. continued to canter a little but i quickly stopped him and he was holding it up. I walked him off so he wasnt blowing. Still lifting it up. I habe cold hosed and cleaned it. My poor boy he is now feeling very sorry for himself and very lame in walk
Hoping its nothing serious and he has just given it a massive bang but even i heard it when he made contact.

Just seen this jessey!! The boy is fine. He still has quite a lump om his pastern however it isnt effecting him
