Chiro when used in conjunction w/massage

Ideally, I know it's better to have a massage before and after chiropractic work, but if only one massage can be done, which is better?
 
Afterwards is better if you can only do it once, it'll help to prevent the muscles going back into spasm (which is what causes the chiro work to be needed in the first place) and so helps "hold" the chiropractic treatment.
 
Yes as a mssage therpist is would also agree with the after, as mentioned, chiros some in with the structural change and us therapists encourage the muscles to accept and support the change. Using Myofascial release in massage can also assist with alignment but only through soft tissue stuff not through structural stuff (sorry its late am running on empty and have no technical terms left in my body!!!!!!!!!!!
