Ok its that time of year again...

Ive never had my loan horse through winter before, but last year he had a blanket clip and he was still taking hours to dry after exercise. Im thinking about a hunter or a full clip, but...

...Jerry is supposed to have a lot of feather, which is clipped off all year round. Im worried about his legs in the winter incase he gets cold. I could use stable bandages, but hes good at getting things off and getting himself caught.

Any ideas about his legs? or am i worrying too much and should i just go for it?

I have an Irish Cob and is known as the hairy fairy . he has really thick feathers and is clipped throughout the year as he overheats. Go for it , a full clip saves you thinking about your lines , just make sure you have a spare set of blades when you start. Happy clipping:)
