Wondering if my old pony has worms. Haven't worm counted yet this year as they've only just gone back out on pasture (all last year they had low worm counts), and they were wormed with Equest for encysted redworms in February, but not sure if I've noticed redworms in her droppings. What do they actually look like? Could it be possible even though she was wormed? Did I worm for this at the right time? Cheers.

Sounds as though you have done everything correctly. The only other consideration is the tapeworm dose. Otherwise back to worm counts, three months after the Equest dose.
Hi Gill - thanks for your reply. Which is the best wormer for redworm? My friend said maybe I haven't used the right one. Is it best to re-do it or send off for testing? Also, as you can only identify tape and red via blood tests, does that mean that we should be blood testing twice a year? Don't like the sound of that to be honest.
