I am tucking my little sister into bed just now but got a little shock when she burst into tears and said, "I don't want to do horse riding for a while" then asked for a long cuddle .
She was at her lesson this afternoon but had a very nasty fall which caused her to graze her leg and arm. She also got a row from our parents for coming home covered in mud on her trousers, jumper and jacket (I have already told them to expect her to come home dirty once in a while).
So, would I be silly to try and encourage her to change her mind or would a few days rest do her the world of good? It's really hard for me because I know how much she loves horse riding but I don't want to ruin our relationship by forcing her back to quickly.
