Desperate - Urgent help required

East Berks (Windsor/Maidenhead) area.

Desperately seeking somewhere to retire my wonderful but lame riding school pony. If I cant find somewhere by Friday he will be destroyed. He is an 18 year old 14.1 Arab gelding, lives happily with other horses and ponies in the field. Finances the problem as I already have a horse on livery. In a bit of a state as only found out today - if anyone can help or has any suggestions please let me know.

thats awful - if i were you i would contact speen home of rest for horses in bucks and explain the urgency, they may well be able to take him.

also try calling the veteran horse society, they often have loaners awaiting oldie companions. they may have some ideas.

i know time is of the essence but hopefully you will be able to sort something

If not, please can you re do a post on here with the title Home needed for companiou Urgent, or something? We had a success recently where a companion horse was re-homed via this website.
