Did anyone ride at Reddish Vale Farm Stockport in the 70's

I used to live in that area and learnt to ride there. I used to go before and after school to muck out etc and if I was lucky I would ride at week-ends.

I think it was there as I just have a distant memory of getting off the bus on the main road and wlaking through a small housing estate and then through to the yard. I always remember a gorgeous palamino horse that was in the end stable and belonged to the YO. Thats where my horsey addition started.

Does anyone ride there now or does anyone remember it back in the 70's. I moved up to Lancashire a short time after so lost touch with all my horsey friends.

Any info would be great!!!:)
 
it was derelict for years and then a couple bought it and turned it back into a livery yard (although i think they may do lessons there now). its also a country tea room. i kept meaning to go when it opened but never got the chance.

I have not been back to that area in a very long time so my memory was very vague.
