This is probably a stupid question but I've just been reading some BE dressage tests (for interest not because I'll be riding them!) and I noticed the use of 'turn' as well as 'track' so 'at E turn left', 'at C track right'. I've never ridden to a high level or competed but I've only ever been told to track…. Is there a difference between the two terms? Do you have to ride the movements differently e.g. more collection for a turn?

Turn left is moving left to go off the track (outside of the school), track left is moving left to rejoin the track.

E turn left means turn at E and ride towards B. Its no different from riding a turn onto or off the centre line.
Track right is to go large around the outside of the school rejoin the track.

Turn left means go left. "Track left" means you will need to find an alternative route.

Many thanks for your replies, all is now clear. It sounds like I was over complicating things as usual!
