do i need a longer girth? pics :)

here sharman has a 26" dressage girth - but he has little rubs that i think may be caused by the buckles being too low? what do you think?

should i go up to a 28"? 30"? :D

The idea of a dressage girth is that the girthing arrangement doesn't interfere with your lower leg. As your leg is, in that picture, too far back, and already close to the buckles, I don't personally think you should try a longer girth. You look to be in the middle of your girth straps as it is.
 
My boy got a little sore with his first dressage girth when we went treeless and I think it was because it was sitting too low, interfering witht he movement of his forelegs. When I bought a longer one (34" the fatty!) he hasn't had any rubbed patches and the saddle even seems to be more secure.

Perhaps worth trying, if you have a firends girth you could try first so you don't have to buy one all the better!
