Hi. i fed this to my old pony to help her lose weight over winter-she didnt need hard feed, but wanted to make sure that she had everything she needed.
So, all i can say is that it worked for her weight loss really
It has good protein levels equivalent to a medium energy feed, so should give the horse the nutrients required for muscle growth along the topline, that is of course, when fed alongside a training regime that works those necessary muscles!
