Does anyone feed rice bran (uk)

My 17.00hh TB/IDx is a poor doer during the winter, she is also a picky eater but also once had a tying up episode. I googled and found rice bran is good for putting on condition and ok for horses prone to tying up.

Does anyone use it? If so is there a generic type or can you only buy it under a brand name?

Also how much does it cost?

I don't use it - mine don't need to gain weight - but I think Saracen's Equijewel is stabilized rice bran.
