Does anyone keep tropical fish?

How often are you meant to feed them ?

My mum does and feeds them twice a day, morning and night

My brother used to keep tropical fish when we were kids, but I never took much notice of them. But I googled for you, and it said once or twice a day, as much food as they can eat in 3/4 minutes. If there's food left after that time, you're giving them too much; if they finish it after two minutes, it's not enough ...

But I expect there are some experienced fish-keepers out there who will tell you more ...

Little and often is usually the best way to go.

Well I haven't killed any yet :unsure: What size tank do you have ?

We used to have them when I was a kid as well as goldfish (in a different tank of course). I still have nightmares about them - I dream mum and dad have gone away and left me in charge of feeding them - and I have forgotten! Then I remember and panic. Don't know why it upsets me so much.
