Just sitting in your stable or your field and just watching your horse/pony be.

I was ment to ride but I'm so achy and tired I decided to just give ale an all over groom and then just sit in his stable with him and chill as he snoozes.

I must do it more often!

Yeah I love doing it, in fact I do it at least every weekend I can waste hours just watching them

Me also! I spend loads of time just watching them, I just like being near them. I never get bored of doing that. Its nice to ride (and I must confess to being grumpy if I go more than two days without!!) but equally nice to just share time together.

Last night I was so tired I just gave Ben a very long groom and stood there stroking and talking to him for well over an hour. I was very stressed yesterday and I felt so calm and at peace standing with him. He is the best therapist anyone could hope for.

I love it too, OH will say 'I thought you said you were going to be quick tonight' after I get home an hour later than he was expecting, I could watch them for hours and often in the summer can be found in my paddock just sitting enjoying Belle's company. I love it when she just grazes next to me, if I move she follows, she's never far away.

I do this a lot. In the evenings after a long day at work I don't always feel like riding, but I give Rusty a nice grooming and just spend time with him. Best therapy ever!
