Dolly's more responsive in her Dr Cook than in the pink copy and it definitely works better than the old black webbing one I had. Don't know why though - the only difference is that the Dr Cook cheekpieces and cross straps join onto a one-piece headpiece whereas on the copies they went onto seperate headpieces.
My Fjord liked her Beta Dr Cook better than a couple of other types I had.
Dyfra likes her padded leather one...though I have been using the Enduro bridle on her the couple of times I sat on her.
All of my riding horses prefer bitless bridles compared to bits. Older ones know how to properly pack their snaffles..but giving a choice..its no bits all the way.
Is funny how they decide to like one bridle over all others.
