Where I went to college we had 2 of the England's vaulting team horses on the yard and they used to hold vaulting competitions there too.
It was amazing to watch especially the little kids vaulting onto a 17hh horse!!

we have an ex vaulting horse at our stables and a current vaulting horse at our college where they do it regularly.
The riding school I go to has a vaulting team and also does vaulting lessons. Like PowerdByHorses I'm also surprised about how unheard of it still is.

I came across it looking for old videos from the RS i go to. Was looking to see some of the ponies in action and came across this video of my RI teaching this girl to vault. Looks great fun!!
Think i might to old and stiff to try this tho, unless there was a particularly slow moving pony to vault on

They have a vaulting team at our local RDA where my friend works - it's really amazing to see children with physical or mental difficulties vault. I thought vaulting was quite renowned so am surprised that so many people had never heard of it - it's usually me who's never heard of things - lol
