Am not sure if I am posting in the right bit, but just to say I have bought Tobes one of these today.

During the day he wears a Cashel Crusader fly mask with nose - helps with his pinky nose, and is a pretty tough fly mask that stands well away from the eyes.

Because he is a fewspot appy he suffers with CSNB and therefore I don't like him wearing the fly mask at night. However, just at present the flies are just as lethal in the evening and as he is prone to eye infections it worries me.

Found this fly fringe that velcroes on under the jaw - but if he wants to pull it off he can easily. Have never been a fan of halters in fields, but this seems to fit the bill really well.

£3.00 Roma one, and I am delighted - will see if he is as delighted with it in the morning!

Yes I have just a similar one... ours has ears in too! Havent used it yet as my flyspray seems to be doing the trick at the mo.. I think the elastic and velcro make it quite safe..
Not sure how long it would last on a 2 yo shetland though!
