Well we have the first show out of the way today - Yorkshire Shetland Show - 2 very sparky bundles of trouble who decided they would leave their manners at home and go partying:giggle:

we had 4 classes - Midi class for Acorn - end of line - no manners and daughter has battle wounds :poop:

Nuts went in the veteran class but an in season mardy mare in the same class as stallions meant her mind was elsewhere, she got 5th but really should have done better if she had behaved and not been so stressy

Emm did the LR on Acorn - end of line - judge said it was because he was so sharp - no disagreement here - cantering in LR is a definate no no - couldn't trot him out properly as he wasn't playing ball - just one good trot line but damage already done- Emm did well to stay on him - ah well thats showing - LR is not really his thing - he enjoys being ridden off but emms not ready yet - he is really strong and sharp.

She did have a good session in the Young handler - she was youngest in the class and controlling the stroppy madam was a challenge for her -but she did-
judge gave her a set show - obsticles and step backs and asked questions on pony - she didn't know withers - some learning there to do - but all in all she was well pleased , big smile - 3rd , £2 prize money which meant ice cream:bounce: her third show with Nuts and first affiliated breed show - so another experience under her belt.

I am worn out and the little:poop::poop: are back in the field doing what they do best - well apart from Nuts who is busy squirting at Charlie at every opportuinity.

Ah thats another story - that busy keeping ponies from causing mayhem nobody
thought to take any! Camera sat in my tack bag the whole time:cry:

Sounds like the ponies had a whale of a time!

Hopefully they will get over the joys of spring in time for your next outing!
