She is on the lorry and on her way, long long journey. Expected tomorrow afternoon around 5-6pm. Just spoken to the driver.
Her eyes look sad here, her coat isn't shiny like it used to be.

Mr C can make whatever comments she wants, I have blocked her so won't see them. I am sure that Admin will step in if required.

She is home, been sedated, unrecognisable to the calm horse i unloaded 5 months ago. I am incredibly sad for her. I have left her in overnight next to her mum and hope she will just rest, if the weather hadn't been so foul would have turned her out and let her have a blast but she was so wound up I was concerned she would injure herself. So fingers crossed she is ok tomorrow.

Went down at 630am to see how everyone had survived the night. I had left Fleur Suze and Sapphire stabled and Buddy and Tintin were out in the winter field, Buddy was still out Tintin on the yard.
Fleur had drunk a huge amount of water and was still warm and uptight. Fed them all. I put Buddy back up the winter field so he couldn't interfere. Led Fleur out in the old collar they sent her in - not my leather one she went in and which I will ask them to return - and she was pulling barging everywhere, very upset.
Got the Giraffe to the far field out of the conflict and Suze in the field next to Fleur. Suze was unsettled and did a bit of charging around.
Did the waters then took Buddy's rope halter which I use on them all - i gave them Fleur's but they clearly never used it or returned it. I put it on Fleur and measured her, she is 470kg, she is very hungry. I have straw for her so she can be in there and the paddock hasn't much on it and she can have bales of straw. She is lean but i have had her down to 450kg in the past, but she looked good on it, nice coat, shiny, bright, she looks dull and down. Hopefully she will bounce back.
I put her halter on and did some work with her. She instantly moved her bum, walked correctly, backed up, halted, all the stuff she knows. Quite what they have done to her I have no idea, but once she was asked to behave she walked around the field with me and we walked halted backed up on a loose rope, no pulling, no being strong like she was in the conventional halter.
Suze is pretty upset. She has bonded with Sapphire so somehow we have to get Fleur into the loop or get Sapphire and Buddy to be pals. I will let Tintin comfort Fleur, he is totally non aggressive and he knows her.20220929_071754.jpg20220929_092908.jpg20220929_092745.jpg20220929_092710.jpg

I think you need to stop accusing this charity of abuse which is what you are basically doing. You gave them your horse. She was not on loan so they don’t have to return anything you gave her to them with as you weren’t having her back anyway. You willingly signed her over.
Equally so, we are all entitled to our opinion, there are things I could tell you about this charity that I doubt anyone would believe, I’ve never said a word because that’s just me, but sometimes I wish I had, but, the fact remains as everyone is always saying here that each and everyone of us are entitled to our own opinion.
If @diplomaticandtactful or anyone else wants to post their own opinion in their own thread and other people don’t like it isn’t the easy answer to just move on and look at a post that interests them instead? Or am I missing something.

Yes you are as she is bringing the charity into disrepute and making accusations that could have repercussions against the forum.

That’s the issue you are missing at Carthorse said on the other thread and pruned that as well. From now on I will just report all such posts instead of suggesting that they stop.

Well yes that is probably a good idea, although I doubt very much that one persons opinion on a very small forum would have much effect on a big charity. But yes, probably best to just report anything you are unhappy with.

Yes people are entitled to their opinions as long as they are expressed politely.

I will warn now that if the charity name is brought into this I'm not prepared to go through editing again, instead the post, or the thread if I can work out how, will be deleted and temporary bans issued. I'm going on holiday and I don't intend to spend hours sorting out issues that risk bringing trouble to the board.

No intention of naming anyone, no intention of causing you or anyone else any issues, just sometimes feel like speaking out instead of sitting in the fence as I usually do thats all, apologies if I appear to be causing trouble, I shall refrain from commenting further.

At no point is any charity mentioned by name by me or anywhere on the thread. I have removed the photograph of her wearing my leather head collar

I didn't say it was, it's a warning to everyone that I will not tolerate any naming again.

Thank you for clarifying the situation.

I'm sorry this has happened. I hope she settles in well and gets her spark back quickly.
thank you, it's a shame it has coincided with Sapphire's arrival as we have a bit of an unsettled herd at the moment. Suze does not appear to want to be mum again and wants to be with Saffy, Buddy is happy with Suze but not Saffy and Fleur is not happy about Saffy and Buddy isn't sure he recognises her so is hostile. Tintin is Mr Happy and loves everyone.

Weather expected to be horrendous. Tonight peaceful, the three gingers fed in their respective fields, Suze/Fleur given a bit of hay and straw, GG hay only. Buddy has gone back out and TT is pigging himself in Buddy's stable. Tomorrow may have to bring them in all day as it is supposed to be torrential. Suze is beginning to show signs of wanting to socialise with Fleur. Fleur is plastered in mud and more relaxed. Sapphire is furious as she wants to be with Suze. Oh well, one day hopefully the 3 gingers will be together!

just checked weather not promising "this morning will be wet and very windy, with outbreaks of heavy, thundery rain and strong gusts expected in places. The rain will clear to blustery showers through the afternoon." It's already very windy and overcast so off to muck out and try to arrange the equines so that everyone is happy, probably mission imposssible

I must have missed some updates because I'm not quite sure what is going on, but I gather the home that Fleur went to didn't work out. I hope that she is OK and settles back with you quickly.
